Pink Kisses To You ~ Muah~

At Nesting Shoppe, we believe in empowering women! And it just so happens that our good friends in Austin, Texas created an awesome business for women called Pink Kisses -- www.pinkkisses.com -- to encourage women and help them recover from bad breakups and heartaches. We had to give them a shout out because their site is just so stinkin' cute, smart and sassy. Not to mention so important in getting through a bad split and some hard times. And Pink Kisses does it all with style, class and of course grace!

OK, so we realize you might not be going through a breakup, but hey, spread the love and share their site with your girlfriends, sisters, daughters and relatives who might need a sweet service to help start fresh! Starting at $14 and up, you can send virtual gifts, texts and "kiss him goodbye" notes to help brighten someones day and rediscover that fabulous woman before the heartbreak! They have packages such as The Rockstar, The Vixen, The Goddess and the mother of all packages, The Diva! (yes, please ;) You can also send yourself or a friend, a bouquet of flowers, decedent chocolates, and even get life-coaching by their certified, on-staff Life coach, Annie, who can help get your life back on track.

The Brass behind the Sass of Pink Kisses was started by the talented Ellie (who says Pink Kisses was born from her own personal heartbreak) and her two fabulous and creative friends, Amy and Annie. Together, they have already helped women "get out of the trenches of breakups" and reclaim their life. "At Pink Kisses, we want to change women’s lives by inspiring them to take control of their own fate and reminding them they are fabulous creatures that deserve to be spoiled… time and again."

They inspire, encourage and empower women with wit, humor and feisty messages that match your personality with quips like "bounce back with a vengeance" and "don't stalk him, stalk us...we're hotter" and my favorite is their slogan..."because moving on is the best revenge". They also have great recommended books for breakups, as well as contests such as sharing your worst breakup experience to let others know they are not alone in the breakup world!

On a serious note, a portion of the profits goes to breast cancer charities and they offer very important resource information such as the National Domestic Violence Hotline 1-800-799-SAFE (7233) and the National Suicide Prevention Hotline 1-800-273-TALK or 1800-273-8255.

How awesome is Pink Kisses? We think they are doing a great thing and the girls at Pink Kisses deserve a special post and a big, pink kiss from Nesting because they are truly fabulous. Help a sista' out and check out their site! Enjoy and as they say...pink kisses to you! pk2u!

xoxo, love your friends at Nesting | We are proud of you! Keep up the amazing work you're doing.

5 tips for photographing your baby

1. Sleeping babies are easiest to photograph, but if you want them awake make sure they are well rested and fed. Happy babies make the best subjects!

2. If possible it is best to photograph your baby on a solid colored blanket. Patterns can be distracting.

3. The best way to photograph your baby? Keep it simple. Babies look their best in their birthday suits, solid patterns or just a plain, white diaper.

4. If you are taking a picture of your baby outside, natural light is the best. The hour before sunset makes for the prettiest pictures.

5. To take the best photos, keep the focus on your baby and zoom in close. Don't forget to take photos of their cute little hands, feet, ears and lips!

Happy photo taking!
