5 tips for photographing your baby

1. Sleeping babies are easiest to photograph, but if you want them awake make sure they are well rested and fed. Happy babies make the best subjects!

2. If possible it is best to photograph your baby on a solid colored blanket. Patterns can be distracting.

3. The best way to photograph your baby? Keep it simple. Babies look their best in their birthday suits, solid patterns or just a plain, white diaper.

4. If you are taking a picture of your baby outside, natural light is the best. The hour before sunset makes for the prettiest pictures.

5. To take the best photos, keep the focus on your baby and zoom in close. Don't forget to take photos of their cute little hands, feet, ears and lips!

Happy photo taking!

My Life in The City

Nesting Shoppe was spotlighted at My Life In The City: Jacksonville. It's a blog that features businesses, families, life and the city of Jacksonville, as well as Miami and Ft. Lauderdale. It was started by a long time friend of ours, Mike Groger. Jacksonville, Florida is where our office is located. We think it's a great place to live and "nest"! Thanks, Mike G. for the article and press! xoxo. You can view the article here.
